Mum's Quilt

This quilt is a gift for my mother's 86th birthday. She lives navy and real together so when I saw this fabric range Simply Colourful 11 Blue, I knew this was the one. Mum is legally blind so I wanted a pattern that was not too complicated or small. I wanted her to be able to see the fabrics I had chosen. I searched until I found Jenny's Layer Cake and Jelly Roll Large Fence Rail. It was perfect. I still have to quilt this and bind it etc but am very happy with the result so far.
