Gram's Quilt

Gram loves blues and greens, the richer the color, the better. And she loves batiks, so for a combo Mother's Day Birthday gift, I made this "Coin quilt with pizazz" using the tutorial from The Missouri Star Quilt Company. Thanks Jenny! While she was out watering her flowers, we snuck in and put it on her bed, and when she came back inside, she absolutely flipped out and said, "Oh Cheryl, it's absolutely beautiful!" And walked over to it running her hands across it, looking at all of the details. I couldn't have asked for a better reaction. #heartmelted
