My first quilt!

This is the first quilt I've ever made. It is for my newborn niece. It took a long time to complete because I kept having to learn the techniques. I used the Disappearing Hour-Glass technique from Missouri Quilt Company for the stars, the Circle of Nine by Janet Houts and Jean Ann Wright for the layout and the rectangular pieces, and then I foundation paper pieced the border. I really enjoyed combining different techniques to make my own unique quilt design!
