Farm Dash

I bought the layer cake, sashing and border from MSQ, along with the pillow panel, intending to use the fabric in the recommended Diamond Dash pattern. It looked quick and fun. I ended up pulling this out when my dad came to stay for a few days. I asked if he’d like to help with a quilt, and he was quite enthusiastic. I had him watch the tutorial. Then he was my presser, encourager and randomizer in putting together the blocks and rows. He chose the yellow fabric for the backing. He then accompanied me to the long arm shop and helped as I quilted it. (He left before I got the binding on.) I also put together the animal mom/baby pillows on a Saturday afternoon. Everything was done, packaged up and presented to my sister-in-law, for her to use as she cares for her grandbabies.
