Mom's Christmas Gift

in 2015 my father had passed away. After we put Dad to rest, I helped Mom to clean out all of his things. While going through his closet, I saw these very hideous aloha shirts that he would wear. I thought maybe I could do a quilt project with them, so I took them and began an applique quilt using Dad's aloha shirts. I finished quilt late in 2015, right before Christmas and gave the quilt to Mom as her Christmas gift. You can imagine how much she cried.
