My sisters and I have been working on a birthday present for our Mom. I saw this as a table runner, not sure where, and thought it would make a neat hanging for Mom. My older sister does beautiful felt work so I asked her if she would like to work on this. My younger sister was the postage and other money person. From the last of the Mom and Grandma’s stash fabrics I put together the wall hanging and then mailed it to my sister to design flowers. We then on an in person visit picked out the fabrics and I took it all back home to complete just in time to give for Mom’s birthday.

I crocheted this little bag for my granddaughter. I just had to add a pom pom to finish it. I started out going by a pattern for the heart but then I added the sides, back, and strap. Somehow I always make things my own.

I made an apron with quilters cotton for my granddaughter for Valentine's Day. She is only two but has been helping in the kitchen lately. I tweeked the pattern a bit and added an extra pocket and towel loop. She loved it!

3rd Birthday

l had so much fun making this gift for my Granddaughter's 3rd Birthday. It involves making felt characters and purses to hold everything. I used embroidery, quilting, and sewing. She will have a Minnie Mouse Party tomorrow. I hope she likes the homemade gifts. Happy Birthday Jane!
