Prairie Flower Quilt

This project was on hold for a while because the blocks didn't come out as even as they should have, but I decided not to worry about it and just finish it because my husband really wanted a lap quilt that wasn't in my usual "girlie" color combos! He loves it! I used Jenny's tutorial Prairie Flower, but because I was short of red tonal yardage, I used 2" squares for the snowballed corners and I think 1 3/4 inch strips for sashing.

Happy Flowers

One of our guest rooms has a double bed and also a twin bed. I made this Dresden flower wall hanging to go over the twin bed. If you look in my projects you can see the double bed and that wall hanging. The quilt is made from the Serendipity 1 pattern. I used the lights to make the scrappy 4 patch border. I used Soho Chic by Sandy Gervais.

Wall Hanging

I Needed something to cover an electric box in one of the guest rooms. This pattern by Sandy Gervais was perfect. I enlarged it to 145% and added the four-patch border. The fabrics are also from Sandy Gervais called Soho Chic. The quilt is Serendipity 2 the cast offs from the twin bed quilt. All I'd did was to sash each block to make the quilt larger to fit a double bed.

Sweet Baby Boy Quilt

I needed a quick boy quilt for a friend. Used a cute Riley Blake charm pack and some matching flannel for a receiving blanket and some burp cloths. I also added a zipper bag with a see-through front.

Sweet Baby Girl Quilt

For one of the young Moms at church. Her first baby girl. I used Bonnie & Camille Scrumptious & Marmalade fabrics with a Robert Kaufman flannel backing. I also made two burp cloths with the left over fabrics. I Love the X's & O's "Hugs & Kisses" pattern from one of Jenny's tutorials.
