Update July 2023: My son and DIL and grandchildren moved from California to Italy in May 2023. Sure hope they took all of the quilts I made them when they moved. Hate to ask - would that be wrong? Ohhh, I'm sure they did. Shouldn't doubt it... August 2020: This is my 34th quilt . This one counts as a quilt pattern on my bucket list.  I've wanted to do a Triple Irish Chain quilt since I started quilting in 2014. This particular TIC pattern is "Georgene" by Edyta Sitar in 'Patches of Scraps', a book I borrowed from the library. The prints are a variety of Cotton Lawn fabrics and the background fabric is Cotton Couture. It was a challenge making 3" square 9-patches using 1.5" squares of cotton lawn fabric. I started cutting and piecing in June 2019, and finished the binding in December 2019.  It's 83.5" square, with a premium white muslin backside, and a cotton/poly batt.  Lyn Durbin at Camlyn Quilting in Smokey Point, Washington, did the free-motion meander long-arm quilting.  I also made 2 pillowcases using a premium muslin for the bodies and scraps for the cuffs. It was gifted to my son and DIL in California for Christmas 2019. The 2 grandkids each have 4 quilts from me, so it was their parents' turn.  I do love quilting though, so they will no doubt get at least one more big one from me.  Posted by Peggy at Bothtwins on August 14, 2020.

I found the pattern for this one in a magazine & really enjoyed making it, being my very first Log Cabin.

This was just fabrics handed to me that came together very nicely. I guess you could call it my “a bit of color and a lot I’d white” stage! I decided to do the rose hook swirly quilting all around the outside, which as you can see is a lot of space. The saner thing I did a small meander between the blocks.
