This is something that Jenny Doan and I figured out together on the floor at MSQC one day. I was having a hard time laying out my hexagons and liking the color spacing, so we decided to do something different! :)

i Spy - Take 1

I made three i-spy style lap quilts last year. My children selected some fabrics during our summer vacation through Paducah Kentucky in 2014. I also participated in a charm swap with member of the MSQC forum! There are pieces from friends all over the country. I used a 5" tumbler for each quilt and added sashing and special quilting for each. Each child picked their own backing. My children call them "Car" quilts and are glad to have them during our Kansas winter.

Apple Core

I made this quilt at a retreat.I used the Accuquilt Apple Core die. This was my first time binding a quilt that didn't have straight edges.

Jelly Roll Race

I made this at the AQS show in Paducah, KY. I was there with 2 friends and we each bought a jelly roll and made them in the evening. Lots of fun to make.
