    I made this for a baby girl. I got brave and did some complex free motion quilting. The good news is that it is nearly invisible. I didn't use a pattern but based the design on a quilt I saw a photo of. It took 1/2 jelly roll of pink and 1/2 of white.

    Fell I'm love with the fabrics and HAD to make this quilt. I chose to make a honeycomb pattern for the piecing because of the litrle beehives that gonhand in hand with the bees. Simple extra large stipple stitch. But would you believe it if i told you that while i was working on this quilt, we actually had a black bear VISIT our backyard 3 days in a row!? Needless tl say the bear scared my sweet 2 year old daughter. So I am hoping this quilt helps with her fear of bears ;) she couldnt wait to snuggle with it while i was hand binding it.
