I fell in love with this quilt the first time I saw it and knew then that I would make it one day. I finally made it and last week gifted it to my son. He loved it. The pattern name is "Three Tours" and the quilt was designed by Tony Jacobsen. Missouri Star Quilt Company did the long arm quilting.

Pinwheels

I made these two quilts for my grand nieces. I used 2 1/2 strips and didn't bother to match but just picked up one and sewed them together 4 of them. Then using a more plain fabric I cut a 10 inch square and also a 10 inch square of my 4 strips. I then sewed these right sides together all the way around. I cut them in a even X and the made squares from the pieces arranging them so I had the plainer fabric in a pinwheel design. These are twin size
