Ann's likes I spy for two Brothers After watching Jenny's tutorial a few weeks ago on the I spy quilt and then purchasing the daily deal I realized this quilt would make a perfect gift for the assistant principal at my daughters school who is getting ready to have her second boy. Her oldest is only 5, so I figured this would be something great they can lay the baby on and then play a game at the same time. Plus as they grow older they can both play. This is also the first quilt I have finished start to finish and used a longarm for the first time. By Mickeyfan1015 26 LIKES | 1516 VIEWS Lucky Penny I made this for my grandma's birthday. Love the color combination and searched for a while to find music fabrics that were not a stark black and white this has a bit of warmth. This is an easy quilt to construct but I think the pattern lets each fabric shine on its own. I backed the quilt with a beautiful batik. By MyFabricStash 11 LIKES | 1372 VIEWS Block Rescue Working at our local senior center families would often donate crafting and sewing supplies that a family member could no longer use. Quilt blocks and other UFO's were often in the boxes and bags. The donated items were either completed and sold or the materials sold to benefit the center. Only nineteen of these beautiful blocks were donated and no one would buy them so I did. To finish the quilt I had a twentieth block embroidered telling what I knew about the blocks. Now with twenty blocks it made a lovely quilt for our son and daughter-in-law. I hand quilted the blocks and tried my hand at machine quilting on the border. All blocks deserve to be appreciated and enjoyed. By MyFabricStash 16 LIKES | 1437 VIEWS Penny's Quilt I love this quilt .... I stressed on what quilt to make My sister Penny for her birthday .... she is very fussy ... and then I found this MSQC pattern called Penny Lane ... and so I took it as a sign ... and I made this quilt for her ... I changed the fabric but I loved the way it turned out .. and I wanted to keep it for myself ... but I gave the quilt to My sister ..... who was less than happy with it ... she said "I don't like those colors" ... I was crushed ... I told her to bring it back and I would gladly make her another one .. she could pick out the fabric ... but no ... she kept the quilt.... I found out she loves it now ... and is very protective of it .... this makes me happy because I loved it. By kimberwdld 36 LIKES | 1686 VIEWS My Wonky Star I saw this quilt on MSQC ... and fell in love ... it is different not like anything else I would make ... and yet it is my favorite ... Their sample just really appealed to me and I needed a wedding quilt for a granddaughter and her new husband. The colors and theme were perfect for this gift. One of my first attempts at free-motion quilting. By MyFabricStash 8 LIKES | 1358 VIEWS New Table runner, this afternoons project. I made this to go in my Living room.
