Chevrons Revisited

I fell in love with a modern print by Alexander Gorlizki using these same colors and designed a quilt using the same colors. It's 60 x 72. Kissing Coins quilt with a twist

I made this quilt with a family friend's daughter/granddaughter in mind. She has amazed me with how she has handled her juvenile diabetes and always participated in sports and been outstanding. As she faces other medical issues her attitude is always great. This picture is not the best quality but the quilt is bright and sunny just like her attitude!

Leah's Jean Quilt

I made this for my Grand Leah for her 13th Birthday. I had never made a Jean quilt before, let alone print pictures on fabric. I used some of her old Jeans and bought some. For a lot of her childhood she was brought up in a one parent home so I wanted to include pictures of them both!- I saw a picture of a Jean quilt and was inspired. I did not have a pattern and it is just one layer.

Bradley's Beach

MSCQ really saved me on this quilt. My 8 yr. old grandson wanted a beach quilt. He saw the "waves" fabric on the internet. It was already Sept. and the fabric was sold out everywhere. I had looked at MSCQ first, but it was unavailable. I put it on my wish list thinking, "Summer is over, it will not be available ever again." BUT low and behold! I got an e-mail from MSQC. The item on my wishlist was in. YAY!! Dancing in the quilt studio. I really am a piecer and had no pattern for this quilt. It was trial and error, but my grandson loves it. I machine appliqued and quilted it on my Janome 7700.Thanks again, MSQC.
