I made this quilt for my mother-in-law as a Christmas gift. Jenny's Crazy Quilt tutorial (Halloween theme) was the inspiration. I added sashing and an appliqued vine & leaves. The blocks were very easy to make. This was the first quilt that I tried FMQ.

My Blue Chevron

I saw this quilt on the cover of a Quilting Quickly ... and it was the blue chevron by Jenny ... from Missouri Star ... so I had to make it ... I failed on the first attempt ... but i have a really cute smaller quilt for a table topper .... on my second try I love the way it turned out. .... thank you MSQC for bringing me into quilting.

Quilted Totes

I love to make totes and these are made from 5" charms cut in half, but could easily be made with 2 !/2" strips of your choice. The pattern is from Pink Sand Beach Designs. Totes are always a nice gift so I keep a few on hand.

First Dream

I watched the MSQC 2010 YouTube video on this disappearing 9 patch pattern and knew I wanted to make it! It finished at 41 x 47 1/2 inches using one charm pack and just a little yardage. I love the bright fun colors.

Falling Charms, for My Mom

My Mom was fighting cancer .... and had to give up her home and move in with my sister ... this was hard on her ... from her own space to a small hospital type bed in a little bedroom .. I made Mom this quilt with love to be there with her even when I could not be there .... Mom loved this quilt ... sadly it is back home with Me now.

I made a quilted tote bag for my Granddaughter to carry her quilt In while traveling. In lieu of using charm squares I chose to use the Summer Song yardage that is from the same series as her quilt.
