Farm Girl Vintage

This was a block of the month at a local shop. It's not from a MSQC tutorial, but I see other FGV quilts posted, so I thought I'd add mine. It's fun to see the different fabrics and layouts we all use in this very popular quilt. Mine was made with 6" blocks and is a very large wall quilt.

Weekender bags

Getting a jump on Christmas this year. The plan is to make 8 of these fun bags for my daughters and daughters-in-law. It took a long day to make both, but I enjoy getting to see the finished product quickly, especially compared to a quilt.

Hexagon/9-patch

Here's my latest finish. It's for my daughter in California. The pattern is actually for a 33" square table topper, but my daughter liked the pattern. So I made all the blocks and leaves 1-1/2 times larger than the pattern was and made enough blocks to create this queen 95" square quilt. It's made with civil war reproduction prints. EDIT: Forgot to mention that I quilted it on my Janome 6600.

Pams quilt 1

I wanted to make a quilt for a long time friend. After this was all done I decided it didn't look like Pam. This is a Jaybird pattern called August Stars and is very easy to do. The colored fabrics are fossil ferns which I think are some of the most beautiful fabrics ever. I kept the quilt and gave Pam the Pam 2.0 quilt.
