I thought it would be fun for them to have quilts that were similar. I made a pillow with his initial—J for Jack. By Jacqueline 10 LIKES | 540 VIEWS Split Rail Quilt I wanted a simple quilt pattern that just let me enjoy sewing and quilting without having to think too hard! : ) This pattern fit the bill! I could work on it when I needed a break from a more difficult project. I quilted it simply with straight lines echoing the seam lines. I think the fabrics are the highlight of this quilt. By Jacqueline 10 LIKES | 1058 VIEWS Another Moda Love Quilt I love this pattern-it’s my go to quilt pattern when I need a quilting gift in a short timeframe! I made a quilt for my daughter using this pattern (it’s posted on the site) and she liked it so much she asked me to make one for two of her friends who are getting married. She picked the fabrics based on their wedding colors. We thought it was especially appropriate for the wedding since it’s called the Love quilt. She requested the same dense, straight line quilting that I did on her quilt. By Jacqueline 13 LIKES | 1158 VIEWS Star Scrap Quilt I wanted to use some leftover scraps and love star blocks. This scrappy quilt is made with star and 9 patch blocks and leftover fabrics. By Jacqueline 22 LIKES | 1074 VIEWS Star Scrap Quilt I'm making this quilt from scraps of several other quilts. This is only the top, but I'm happy with how it's coming out. I plan to add 2 borders, but I'm still figuring out what will look best. She loves to play with her dolls so I'm sure this will get lots of use! That makes me happy! P.S. It was good practice for matching seams! I made this quilt to welcome him. : ) By Jacqueline 7 LIKES | 1067 VIEWS Another Christmas Tree Mini-Quilt I am sharing another Christmas Tree Mini-Quilt I made as a Christmas gift. I did stitch-in-the-ditch on this one also. I used a Moda Bake Shop pattern as inspiration. By Jacqueline 9 LIKES | 1015 VIEWS Quilt and Toddler Apron for Granddaughter I made this quilt for my granddaughter's first birthday. Her name is Ruby and the fabric line is called Little Ruby--perfect! I kept the quilting minimal--just basic outline quilting. The second picture is an apron I made for her from some of the leftover fabric. She likes to help her Mom in the kitchen so I plan to give this to her on her 2nd birthday. By Jacqueline 18 LIKES | 1144 VIEWS Christmas Tree Mini-Quilt This little 16" X 16" quilt is made with leftover fabric from Christmas table runners I made as gifts last year. I found the pattern on Moda Bake Shop. I modified the pattern a bit by adding a 2 inch border and plan to use it as a wall hanging during the holidays. I quilted around the border, the star, and tree using stitch in the ditch. I'm planning to make some as Christmas gifts this year. By Jacqueline 9 LIKES | 967 VIEWS Star Quilt My daughter and I made this quilt together--she picked out the fabric collection, we picked the pattern together, laid it out together, and I did the piecing and quilting. She (and her cat) are enjoying it. By Jacqueline 26 LIKES | 1150 VIEWS «123»
