She is giving them to her grand daughters eho are figure skaters being rrained by olympic coaches. It took a while to get my hands on the perfect ice skating fabric and theres no more of it as ot was discontinued. The quilt is approx 56x56, stitched in the ditch for quilting woth a purple sparkle binding made from the same fabris that was incorporated into the quilt. The ice skate fabroc sparkles as well. It was really fun to do this pattern. By KatieBird 7 LIKES | 741 VIEWS Blue Town Squares Quilt I watched MQS and decided to try one her quilts. By Karen2Maya 15 LIKES | 1135 VIEWS Matt's Hunter Star Made this for my oldest son. He's my outdoorsman so the Hunter's Star was perfect for him. I used a lot of blues and oranges from my stash and Jennifer Sampou's Feathers in Smoke. I cut my own charm squares except for the white background, those were Kona White. Jenny's Hunter Star tutorial was very helpful in completing the piecing. I add an additional row and column and added multiple borders. The final size was a very generous queen size. This is the first quilt that I quilted lots of feathers on, after a lot of practicing. I love projects that look complicated but aren’t that hard to make. This king was for Christmas 2017. By AbbieMolly 8 LIKES | 809 VIEWS Quatrefoil Another one of Jenny's great tutorials. By estelle71 28 LIKES | 777 VIEWS «12...8910111213141516»
