JewelMagic's likes Memory quilt I made this quilt for a co-worker for her 60th Birthday. We have celebrated 23 birthdays together. She holds a special place in my heart. I used fabric printed sheets to feature her children and Grandchildren. By osbornec 13 LIKES | 1455 VIEWS Spin Cycle I bought these fabrics last year at MSQC and finally got them out. The pattern is Spin Cycle and uses the tube strip ruler. Fabric is the Imperial Gardens collection from Benartex. I love the middle eastern look of them. I had enough left of the jellyroll to also make placemats and a table runner. By AngieB 18 LIKES | 1187 VIEWS Sparkle Plenty quilt My kids call this the sunny day quilt - sure brightens up the room! Used the Sparkle Plenty pattern for this one. Did straight line quilting on the solids and a dense stipple on the multicoloured fabric. I made this out of flannel from my local quilt shop. By FlyCreekQuilter 6 LIKES | 736 VIEWS Fence Rail & Nine Patch Quilt This is another one of Jenny Doan's tutorials I had to make. I had so many nine patches left over from the Irish Chain Quilt and the background pieces already cut that I used them to make this quilt. I only had to make the fence rail pieces and the borders. I still have so many nine patches and 6 1/2" background pieces already cut that I could probably make another one of these! Haven't quilted it yet. Waiting on the Westalee ruler foot and sampler templates to arrive so I can do something other than stitch in the ditch. By kathy6024 6 LIKES | 1012 VIEWS Kaffe Fassett Spring Quilt I love all of Kaffe's fabric and probably have collected most of them. Decided to pull some of my spring colors together and make Kaffe's 'Spring Quilt' ..... The flowers are gorgeous, the Delphiniums are awesome. By malibu1125 20 LIKES | 2836 VIEWS Sunshine on a Cloudy Day I have always wanted to make an Amish quilt and when I saw this pattern made with white used instead of the black I seized the opportunity to make this quilt with my own twist. I had inspiration from the book shown below and found a pattern that I thought i could adapt. I love the fact that I didn't see the complete design until I had sewn the rows together. I honestly didn't see the "rays" until I had taken a picture of it spread out on the floor. When I have trouble seeing if all the pieces are exactly where I want them I take a picture of it on my phone and I get a completely different view. Lots of times I will change the arrangement based on the photo. This quilt is super easy-just half square triangles. In fact I made twice as many as I needed so now I can make another one. I was able to take this class by Annette of Southwind Designs. By Jspor6 96 LIKES | 4690 VIEWS Binding Tool Star Quilt I made this for quilt for a wedding gift. Once I saw the tutorial I wanted to try it. It is made for a king size bed. Once I had the top finished I went to a a quilting store that rents long-arm quilting machines and quilted "Tying the Knot" pattern. It took me approximately two weeks (evenings) to complete the top. Thanks Jenny for all the tutorials, I love them. By linderlucy 23 LIKES | 6355 VIEWS «1234567»
