Bow Tie
The pattern is in the MSQC Block magazine, Vol.1, Issue 2 - Spring. I began cutting in December, 2017 and finished the binding in April, 2018. It's my 11th quilt. Finished size is 87.5" square for my queen bed.
I used stash yardage and left-overs for the top; most of it was intended for my first quilt but then I got distracted by shiney things and ended up going in a different color direction for that quilt. I was happy to get back to this colorway, and there was enough to make a nice big quilt without having to buy more. It was very fun to put the blocks on the design wall and move them around until it worked. The backing, rusty orange with white polka dots, was adorable for the binding as well. Love polka dots. The batt is Quilters Dream wool. Lyn at Camlyn Quilts did Pearls & Curls in the center, Curls in the cream border and Leaves in the green border. I love this quilt. It's in my top 3 favorites of all the quilts I've made. Posted 052419
