Made this wall hanging for my sewing room.

I saw Jenny's tutorial and just had to make one. This was so fun to put together. This is for another young Mom at church who just had a baby girl. I backed it with flannel and made two burp cloths with the scraps. The fabric is Happy Day by Riley Blake.

first attempt free motion quilting

Still using fabric left from my king size quilt. Used 3 inch squares to make half square triangles. Watched a bunch of tutorials about free motion quilting which helped a lot. The quilting is far from perfect but a lot of fun to do!
