Kitty Cat Musings
Vinnie is a shelter rescued cat who found a loving home with my brother-in-law and his wife at their Idaho cabin. This quilt wall hanging was inspired from a Silouette cat pattern by designer Luke Haynes on the weallsew website. I used fabrics left from other projects for the half square triangle top. Then, appliqued the cat onto the completed top. As an added bonus, I appliqued hummingbirds and their black lab's outline onto the quilt backing. It was a fun project to practice echo quilting and applique techniques.
