This is the first quilt I ever made. My sister talked me into a paper piecing class and I've been hooked ever since. A non-traditional log cabin made for baby Catie, grandchild no. 7! The girls at my local quilt shop helped pick out the fabrics. I used the left over fabric for the back.

Saints Quilt

This is the Saints throw size quilt that I made for my husband for Christmas a few years ago. Almost all of the 2" squares were in a box of scraps, already cut, that I got at the garage sale. The layout was my own. I added a couple of pictures of him watching the big game with friends when the Saints won the SuperBowl. He had no idea I was working on this so he was very surprised. This was my first completed quilt project.

Mom's Phoebe's Flower Box

This quilt was made for the Iron Quilter 2 contest. Just a way to make myself get a quilt done prior to the night before gifting it. It was a Christmas present for my mom. Pattern calls for jelly rolls, but I used charm squares. Just made it a little more time consuming, but still love the way it came out. I machine quilted it on my long arm, free hand.
