I found this little paper-pieced teapot pattern on Craftsy. I used it to make potholders for our British friends. We'll be visiting them soon. It's fun making these and takes so little fabric. I enjoy going through my stash and finding fabrics that work together. So many possibilities. Precuts would work well.

Animal Whimsy
Searching for a quilt pattern that featured farm animals, I came across this Amy Bradley design, and knew I had to make it for my new great niece. My nephew and his wife live on a hobby farm and love all animals, and this was a gift to welcome their new baby girl. I think making this quilt top was the most fun I've had sitting at a sewing machine. The photo download cut off the bottom three blocks.

Second try on the Teapot Potholders
I made another set but wasn't happy enough with what I made to gift them. I made these and I'm much happier. How they differ from the first set - smaller, better choice of fabrics, one less layer of heat-resistant batting.
