STASH BUSTING - FANCY CELL PHONE PURSES
I signed up for the first Sisters Craft Night. Bought this beautiful sequins fabric to make necklaces with beads. BUT, {always a big B.U.T. } When I went to sew the casing for the beads my sewing machine couldn't sew through all the glue and the fabric was too flimsy. I retired this fabic to my stash. Well, I needed a break from my current baby quilt project. Then started researching you tube videos and found another project from QUILTSMART.COM a bigger Cell Phone Interfacing Project. I think I bought 10 interfacing patterns. My first Purse, I gave away but it worked! by ironing the interfacing on the fabric and only sewing on the edges I was able to use up all of this fabric. {{ I did save some to make quiltsmart lamp shades for wine glasses - future project. }}
I just think these phone purses are extremely girly and beautiful. Now, that they are made, I am not sure what I am going to do with them. The feeling when you sew on that last button and finish. Motivates you to the next project - Christmas Placemats and Mug Rugs. Sending Blessings your way.
