Quilt6cats' likes Stairway to Heaven When he was younger and still living at home, my son and I used to enjoy playing music together. He played guitar and I played the keyboard. Our favorite song was Stairway to Heaven. He asked me if I would make a wall hanging for him and so to honor his 49th birthday I made this for him as a memorial to those great musical times we had together. I love to quilt, really love whole cloth quilts and am mesmerized by Zentangle. This is a combination of all three and a lot of love. I have to say, stitching with heavy black thread on cream fabric was more than a little daunting!
