It is far from perfect but I will learn from my mistakes! By A41Leslie 8 LIKES | 2699 VIEWS First Quilt My granddaughters' school had a benefit auction. This was my donation. I loved making it! I had watched Jenny's curved log cabin tutorial, and I was hooked! The fabric was a fat quarter bundle I had purchased on ebay for a few dollars. So happy with how it turned out! The pattern is from Eleanor Burns "The Jewel Box". The piano key border and mitered corners on the border add that extra special "wow" factor to the overall design. I am a cat person. I have no less than 5 cats in my home at any given time and they are my kids in every way. Therefore in order to honor them and my love for them, I made a patchwork quilt consisting solely of novelty fabrics featuring cats. I used dozens of different prints varying from cutesy to photo quality. There are hundreds of cat fabrics out there! This made my fabric selection both fun and difficult. I got most of my choices at cat fabrics.org. If you haven't checked them out, I highly recommend it. They also have dog prints and their prices are very reasonable. Plus they support pet charities with your purchases I may even make another cat quilt at some point - there are just so many fabrics out there I can't stand it! :) By Phantom-Rose 7 LIKES | 1210 VIEWS Love links quilt kit Not sure of the exact title of this quilt.
