A dear friend's daughter was expecting a baby and I wanted to do something special and hand made. I found a booklet on Irish chain quilts and I decided to make a baby quilt that day. I machine quilted hoping it would be used and washed many times! They do! Tummy time is when they put this quilt down and I'm thrilled they are using it with this sweet baby!

Hourglass quilt for friend's baby girl

One of my best friends had a baby girl and that was of course the perfect opportunity I needed to give the hourglass quilt (I found on Pinterest) a try! I had some yardage from the Kissingbooth line that I had been saving for something like this - perfect! It's one of my first quilts and the very first quilt I FMQ'd.

Winged Brick House Quilt

This quilt was started in November of 2014 and finished in December of 2014 as a Christmas present for my Mimi. Fabric is Winged by Bonnie Christine for Art Gallery Fabrics. The pattern is Brick House from Adrianne at Little Bluebell. I did straight line quilting on my home machine (Brother CS6000i).

Southern Country Stars Quilt

This quilt was started in September of 2014 and finished in October 2014. It was made for the Mt. Bethel Harvest Party Silent Auction. The fabrics are various prints from Hobby Lobby and the pattern is from the Nine Patch A Day Quilt Along by Amanda at Crazy Mom Quilts. I quilted it with stars and wavy lines on my home machine (Brother CS6000i).
