Country Placemats

Yes more stashed used here. A panel of Country designs that appear quilted. I cut them into 6 placemats and 1 table runner and framed them in a small green checkered material and then very carefully did a blanket machine stitching around the designs and it looks like applique . Also I wanted to skip binding so right sides of fabric together and then batting left a open area and turned them . Did a small heart stich about the edge with my Baby Lock Lyric machine

Christmas Tree Skirt

This was a pre-printed panel that was to be two vest. It is part of the stash drawer I am working though. No one wears vest much anyway they never sell at the bazaar that I make stuff for. So I cut and trimmed the Bears on Ice Skate print and used Wonder Under to put it on some pretty Christmas printed material. Again no binding here did the batting on the wrong side of the back side and turned it though the opening. I did a pretty gold stitch around the edge and quilted the skirt like pie pieces.

Christmas Pillow like Ornaments

Yes more stash here. I did use two newer prints of fat quarters for the wall hanging part that I did a pretty Christmas design in the center. I sewed on buttons on the bottom to hand the ornaments. On the back to hang the item I used the tabs of a soda cans. Works like a charm. So they can hang this on the fireplace instead of stockings or use the ornaments on the tree and save the item with the buttons for storing them.
