Snap930's likes Faceted This is my version of Fons and Porter's pattern Faceted. I just love these Batiks. By estelle71 31 LIKES | 811 VIEWS Monday’s Washday I found this quilt in the May/June 2017 issue of Quiltmaker magazine, and I knew that it would be perfect for a little girl. I modified the original design by using my Silhouette machine to create the dresses, and I used rickrack instead of fabric for the clothes line. By Jillrn1995 22 LIKES | 972 VIEWS Matt's Hunter Star Made this for my oldest son. He's my outdoorsman so the Hunter's Star was perfect for him. I used a lot of blues and oranges from my stash and Jennifer Sampou's Feathers in Smoke. I cut my own charm squares except for the white background, those were Kona White. Jenny's Hunter Star tutorial was very helpful in completing the piecing. I add an additional row and column and added multiple borders. The final size was a very generous queen size. This is the first quilt that I quilted lots of feathers on, after a lot of practicing. This king was for Christmas 2017. By AbbieMolly 8 LIKES | 799 VIEWS Crazy about deer hunting Scott loves everything about hunting. He then pointed out the one he liked. This is quilted with oak leaves and acorns - deer favorites! By AbbieMolly 6 LIKES | 627 VIEWS Baby Quilt Daughter: Mom will you make a quilt for my friend at work who is having a baby? Me: I will but you will have to buy all the supplies. Daughter: Really? How much will that be? Me: At least $50. Daughter: WOW let me get back to you! Mom: Another co-worker will split the cost so will you still make it? Me: Ok. All said and done I had $75 in it not including thread. I charged them $50! So I paid $25 to make this quilt for someone I don't even know. Sound familiar??
