Pillow Cases for Houston & Florida
Hurricane Irma had hit Florida, after Hurricane Harvey flooded Houston. I found MSQC Harvey Relief email in my Junk email.
I decided to get a late start and see how many Pillow Cases I could get made. I thought this would be a great time to use up some of those scraps that I have been collecting. I was having a blast. I stuck to same color theme for each pillow but the down side was that I could only get 2 done a day. After eight pillow cases and making no progress, I decided to use a pattern that said a 9 patch for a quilt. I took the dimensions and made them smaller for a pillow case. This helped a lot because I was able to make 4 in one night. There was no deadline in the email but I wanted to get them done. Therefore, I decided to make the Easy Tube Pillow Case Method. I couldn't believe the difference I was able to cut and sew 14 pillow cases in 2 days. I just got back from the Post Office and they are on there way to MSQC to help our fellow Americans. Sending Prayers, too.
