Leaves are Falling
A scrappy quilt for my fall room. My favorite time of year. Had lots and lots of scraps and this quilt wanted to be "born" I found a maple leaf pattern in size I was needing. Copied and pasted onto a cereal box, cut it out. Used this as my template to cut 100 leaves out of my leftovers. I spray basted the back of each leaf and put it on a square. I then edged stitched all around the outside, and then did some veining to hold it down.
I quilted each square first then added the sashing strips to complete the top. Each block is a 20 inch square.
