The pieces are really small, each diamond measure 4 inches in length. Used the scraps (from the trash literally) of Kaffe Fassett fabric leftovers. By dzirin 15 LIKES | 900 VIEWS Heart Wallhanging I found this pattern in a little shop in Tehachapi. It is made from 2" squares. I really like the Little Black Dress fabric line and think it makes a beautiful quilt. By PattiB 37 LIKES | 1837 VIEWS Under the Stars This is a quilt made from the tutorial "Under the Stars." Instead of using a jelly roll and charm packs, I used 10" squares from two different batik layers cakes I had. The stars were made from leftover black jelly roll strips and black skinny strips (honey bun). By QuiltLakeside 48 LIKES | 1792 VIEWS Four Patch Frenzy I bought this Boo Crew line of fabric from my first trip to Hamilton back in May 2015. When I saw the Four Patch Frenzy tutorial, I knew this was definitely the quilt to make. I love it! I can hardly wait to get started quilting it with spiders and webs. I decided to make a memory quilt style quilt out of my and my husband's old shirts. I also contacted Life is Good and they graciously sent me some seconds so I could round out my collection and have enough to make this quilt. If you look closely you can see stains and worn spots, all well earned! I'm already well on my way to collecting enough for a second quilt! By Peeber 5 LIKES | 1463 VIEWS Hearts Repaired and Replaced This quilt is for a benefit in our community in September. A young woman named Kim was born with heart issues and has had many surgeries in her young life. Now in her twenties she needed a heart transplant and was blessed to receive the new heart this year. The quilt is adapted from a quilt as you go design but I made the top and quilted it as a full quilt. The blocks were made in pairs then slashed and sewn together to create the light and dark as well as the repaired hearts. The back is piece using a zipper from the MSQC tutorial Zipper Quilt. Love the zipper to add interest to the back of the quilt and use up some of the scraps. By MyFabricStash 8 LIKES | 958 VIEWS Patchy Triangles My daughter's best friend wanted me to make her a quilt. Something "patchy" is what she described. So this is what I came up with. By Krid 48 LIKES | 1846 VIEWS Sweet Caroline I used my Silhouette machine to make the name applique.
