This was a kit I bought on line. The lesson I learned is that there can be a wrong and right side to bakits. The black is not the same on each side and some are turned one way and some the other. You can see it is the daylight. Even with that booboo it is still a very pretty quilt.

Frozen Quilt for my Niece

My niece became a Frozen junkie when the movie came out. I wasn't thrilled with most of the Frozen fabrics but decided these panels for a cloth book that I found at MSQC would work. 1st time I used fluorescent thread to quilt it and a matching pillowcase and that adds a fun dimension. I was very pleased with it and my niece loves it.

Denise's Rail Fence Quilt

This quilt I made for my daughter for Christmas 2016. It was a kit top purchased at my local quilt shop in Kingston Ontario. The fabrics are batiks. I believe the pattern is called Rail Fence but may have other names. It was made with 2 1/2" strips and yardage.I added a 2" and 5" borders to compete I finished the back with a fleece fabric for a nice cozy feel. It was quilted free motion in a repeating spiral pattern. The quilt finished size is approx 60" X 64"
