Sticks and Stones

This quilt was made from the MSQC tutorial. I bought a jelkroll of plaid fabrics a d decided to make this quilt. I have always wanted to make a quilt using black. This seemed to be the perfect opportunity. I will post a picture of the completed quilt.

Olive's Flower Market Quilt and Accessories

Update: My Olive's Flower Market quilt is finished. I chose Clematis as the quilt design. I posted this before, but wanted to share how the quilting turned out. I also added to my accessories this past week. I covered my sewing chair with the green floral by this fabric collection, as well as making a new sewing machine cover in 5" x 5" squares. (Will finish that up today!)

Log hearts

I made this for a baby girl. I got brave and did some complex free motion quilting. The good news is that it is nearly invisible. I didn't use a pattern but based the design on a quilt I saw a photo of. It took 1/2 jelly roll of pink and 1/2 of white.

I was sent a hand pieced star from about the 50's and asked to "make it a quilt". I hand quilted and appliqued it to a muslin quilt sandwich and it is loved. I did machine quilt the background.
