TerriJ0628's likes All Roads Botanicals I bought this kit from Bluprint. It used a layer cake and yardage and created a spectacular result. By nancileigh 22 LIKES | 807 VIEWS one block wonder with border print Tried the OBW with a border print which had three repeats in the width of the fabric. . I cut around the yellow striped parts of the print to avoid having them take over the entire quilt. In the end I was able to piece the stripes together to provide a narrow yellow border. OBW is an interesting technique but I prefer symmetry of design so this may be my first and last OBW. I used nearly every bit of the 3 yards of fabric to make this quilt which measures 51x55. Yellow minky on the back. In the brightly colored areas I quilted an outline of the fabric pattern in most of the blocks to avoid the dark blue thread taking over the area, In the darker areas I quilted swirls and feathers and dot to dot designs in the hexis. I used wool batting, my favorite. I will be sending this to an extended family member undergoing treatment for cancer. It's so soft and feels like fur. - I just finished this Charms on Point quilt top for a friends grandson. The nursery theme is aquatic. I love the colors in this Octopus Garden layer cake. I added a pop of purple for the small border. By blbaughman 13 LIKES | 574 VIEWS Scrappy Race Track #2 This is Race track # 2 made from left over project materials from the last 10 years. I cut left over material into 2 1/2 , 2 & 1 1/2 inches. I sew the 2 & 1 1/2 together and trimmed to 2 1/2. Then sewed the strips end to end in no order. Took the Beginning end and pulled it though the house to the last end and sewed the length. Cut and repeated until I had a piece rather long but only 45 inches wide. I cut the length in two pieces and added red border to one, posted a few day ago. This one has a black border and I used a printed scrappy design in Christmas for the back and the trim. I love these and will be another donated to the Rehab Veterans nearby us. By caf7carq 18 LIKES | 1125 VIEWS Octopus Garden MSQC Charms on Point Update: Finished binding. Used Cuddle Luxe on the back. It's so soft. Feels like fur. - I just finished this MSQC Charms on Point quilt top for a friend's grandchild. I love the colors in this Octopus Garden layer cake. I added a pop of green for the small border. These were leftover 5 inch squares from previous Charms on Point quilt. I love how different borders change the look of a quilt. Previous quilt pictured also. I changed my borders from the tutorial since I like smaller borders. I knew my Mom would love the colors and the pattern so I bought the same fabric and followed Jenny's tutorial to make the quilt for my mom for her birthday that is coming up in September. By plquilter66 13 LIKES | 441 VIEWS Two Chandelier pattern quilts My friend and I made two matching Chandelier pattern quilts for one of her friends to use in her camper. We delivered the quilts this weekend. We stayed with her friend to go to Jenny on the Road in Lancaster, PA on Friday. Such a fun day! Jenny is wonderful! I took the picture. It's a fun and easy pattern to make. By blbaughman 24 LIKES | 1008 VIEWS Baby Quilt I had a "Couch to Quilt" kit, from which I previously pilfered a few of the charm squares for another project. So, I added a few leftovers from other baby quilts and did Jenny's Charms on Point, which I then quilted myself. By LindaV 15 LIKES | 540 VIEWS Butterflies in Grandmothers Garden 100” king size.
