This is another idea for a Maui quilt for a grandson, We went to Maui, during whale season. I created the idea of a whale, among, many fish. Also I created bubbles using applique.

Cute Baby Girl Quilt

I made this for one of the young mothers at church. I used Dot & Dash by Riley Blake with some raspberry for the accent color. I appliqued the flowers to give it a touch of whimsy. I made two burp cloths with some left over fabric and some similar flannel. For the backing I used a short pile minky in a matching pattern. The quilting pattern has hearts, flowers and butterflies. My quilter drew this darling pattern.

Halloween Cats

Halloween is my least favorite holiday, but for some reason at our recent quilt guild meeting when they were giving away some free fabric, I picked up a piece of Halloween fabric. It was orange candy corn on a black background. The next day Jenny's Pins & Paws tutorial was in my email. When I saw it I knew I had to make it as a Halloween quilt. I ordered the Layer Cake "Come Sit a Spell" from MSQC and used the candy corn fabric for the border. I love how it turned out!

Butterflies and Flowers

This quilt was made for my oldest granddaughter. The colors in the quilt made me happy to look at. The quilt was a huge hit with her she loved the colors also. The quilting was done by Missouri Star Quilt company. They did a fantastic job.
