Color quilt

My daughter asked for a quilt with "all the colors, except pink." She also requested triangles. She picked all of the fabrics. I made a silly math error at the beginning, and the triangles are half as big as intended. This one took me a lot longer than anticipated!

My Happy Quilt

When I first saw Jenny's tutorial I knew I had to make one. I just love the Kaffe Fassett fabric. That's why I call it the "Happy Quilt". And I'm very happy with the way it turned out. It's off to be quilted now. I can't wait for it to come back.

Flannel Rag Quilt

The first quilt I made when I first started learning to quilt. My biggest regret is that I didn't make it bigger. We use it as a throw but it's so warm, I'd wish it fit the bed.

Modified Jelly Roll Race Quilt

After watching Jenny's Jelly Roll Race video, I knew I had to try one but I made a minor modification. I cut each strip in to two pieces of a different length. I didn't measure just grabbed and cut then sewed them all together in one long strip and continued on as for a regular jelly roll race quilt. This was a gift for my oldest daughter who had moved to Texas. She loved it and I hoped it would make her feel I was with her.

Vintage Repro String Quilt

At a quilt show, one of the quilt shops was selling bags of string blocks. I bought two of the ones made from 1930's repro prints and put this together in no time. It's still my favorite.

2013 Craftsy Block of the Month quilt

This quilt was a nightmare to put together because I really hated the class. The instructions weren't the best but the class was free and I was determined to finish it. I also didn't like the layout the instructor had given us for putting the completed blocks together so I kind of improvised. I was happy with how it finally turned out but this will always be my 'quilt from h*ll'. :)

Craftsy Secret Garden Quilt

This is a disappearing 9 patch that I made from a layer cake kit using Amy Butler fabric. I adore Amy Butler's designs and was lucky enough to find some remnants of the same fabric line while visiting Hancock's of Paducah after a quilting show. I barely had enough remnants to piece together a backing but I love the backing as much as I do the front.
