Made this for my Son, he heads off to College in the fall and I wanted to make something masculine and not in the school colors. My plan is to have a flannel backing so it is soft and comfortable.

I loved the colours in this jelly roll and couldn't find a colour I liked to blend in, so completed the jelly roll race with just these colour. Then I thought the pink was tooooo pink, if you know what I mean, so I made some hexie flowers and applique'd them on. When I quilted it, I used a wavy line to try and add some contrast and I'm now delighted with it. I just have to make a label for Anne and hand it over.
