My sister found this pattern and asked if I would make it for her. A couple of firsts for me, my first attempt at paper piecing and my first ever wall hanging. Wish I would have done the star a little differently, but overall I am happy with the way it turned out.

I started quitting about 13 years ago after watching the quilting shows on PBS and thinking to myself, I can do that! Well after absolutely hating the way the first few quilts turned out, my husband signed me up for a class as a Christmas present. This is the sampler quilt from that class. It's finally finished!
