Kenna's Car Quilt
Where we live in Ohio has become very cold, of late. I sometimes chauffeur my granddaughter around in my car and my daughter wants me to take Kenna's coat off in the car, so she can be securely strapped into her car seat. The car takes a while to warm up. I decided to make Kenna a car quilt. I had obtained some fun fabric by Jamie Fingal awhile back and I decided to use it for Kenna. It was a yard so I cut out a yard of fusible batting and a yard I already had of fabric from Lotta Jansdotter.
It was a quick quilt, nothing fancy. I quilted along the lines, making a quilt of connecting squares. The fabric lends itself to this and is the star of the quilt.
