A friend who is having some "growing pains" professionally, needed something to help remind her that she has people who believe in her abilities. I hope she wraps up in this when she needs to feel supported and loved. Her favorite colors are red and white. Friendship Star

A thirty year friendship deserves to be wrapped in love. My close friend selected fabric that he liked out of my stash while helping me reclaim my sewing room. I put all this fabric aside to surprise him. This is that surprise--He is a star friend and we have had our ups and downs over these last 30 years. Shades of Grey

This is made for a special friend who loves greys. Using batiks with accents of red, I used the jellyroll race method to assembly. I also used my walking foot for the first time to machine quilt.
