My first attempt to create a quilt without blocks. I put a "Design Wall" (only White Flanell ;-)) on the floor and set to work. Starting with the cats squares I arranged stripes and black and White. It came together slowly and I enjoyed every step of it. The finishing was quite tricky as there were no Guidelines sort to speak. But finally it was done.

Let the Christmas Season Begin

After organizing my fabric stash, I found a video that showed you how to make Fat Quarter Draw String Bags. I was able to use up over 80 fat quarters to make over 40 of these draw string bags. I will use them for Christmas. Put a little gift in them and my wrapping is done. It was a lot of fun.

Friendship Star

A thirty year friendship deserves to be wrapped in love. My close friend selected fabric that he liked out of my stash while helping me reclaim my sewing room.
