My grandson joined the marines and left after high school. Four years this was a WIP. Done! Defintely a learning experience. I even quilted a bulldog into the Marine emblem in the center. He is stationed overseas and saw it on Facebook. Absolutely loves it and thinks I'm the best. Stay safe Grandson.

I made this for another young Mom at church. I used Summer Song 2 by Riley Blake. It is so bright and happy. I used my favorite X & O (hugs & kisses) pattern. I used. Robert Kaufman flannel for the backing. I included two burp cloths with leftover fabric.

Spring Table Runner

I saw this cute Moda fabric and had to make a table runner with it. The fabric line is called Treehouse Club. I had fun picking out all the buttons from my collection inherited from my Mom & Grandma. The pattern is an exclusive from Scrape Apple Quilt Shop in St. George, Utah called "A Bit of Country Charm. We were passing through & stopped for a quick quilting fix. The quilting is a simple flower design.

Bear's Honeycomb

Fell I'm love with the fabrics and HAD to make this quilt. I chose to make a honeycomb pattern for the piecing because of the litrle beehives that gonhand in hand with the bees. Simple extra large stipple stitch. But would you believe it if i told you that while i was working on this quilt, we actually had a black bear VISIT our backyard 3 days in a row!? Needless tl say the bear scared my sweet 2 year old daughter. So I am hoping this quilt helps with her fear of bears ;) she couldnt wait to snuggle with it while i was hand binding it.

I made this for a baby girl. I got brave and did some complex free motion quilting. The good news is that it is nearly invisible. I didn't use a pattern but based the design on a quilt I saw a photo of. It took 1/2 jelly roll of pink and 1/2 of white.
