This is the first quilt I ever attempted. It is a stack and whack quilt with fabrics sourced from Australia, Ireland and a couple of US states. The Irish theme denotes my son's Irish heritage. It is quilted with a rainbow thread showing the gold at the end of the rainbow so he would never be without the financial gainto have what he needs. On the back are squares of Kelly green, newspaper print ( he is a journalist) and music notation as he lives music and plays guitar.

Dani"s quilt

My youngest granddaughter is a real girlie girl. Pink is her color. Last year while doing the shop hop I picked up some pink fabric at a lot of the different shops. The white background has tiny pink rosebuds on it.

Karen's Disappearing 9Patch

i made this quilt for my friend's 60th birthday. I chose Kaffe Fassett Octopuses Garden as these are her colours. The Disappearing 9Patch is because she and her husband are always disappearing off in their caravan. For the back I chose a fabric that reminded me of seaweed to fit in with Octopuses Garden. She also loves the sea. I free motion quilted this myself. I added plain real green for the centre blocks to make the quilt appear less busy. I did not quilt the plain green squares to make them pop out. I am happy with the result. I hope she is too.

Pink

My friend LOVES pink. This quilt was made to comfort her after her husband died. It was made from scraps and used up every piece of pink that I could find. Even her handsome sons grab it to wrap up to watch TV.

BIG STAR QUILT

I first saw this Star pattern om MSQC some years ago. I had been touched by several family members and friend who have suffered or are going through cancer treatments so I decided that I would make this beautiful quilt for the charity associated with "Relay for Life". I made the quilt and had it professionally quilted by our local quilter who also donated her time & quilting. Thanks Jan. It was gratefully accepted and raffled raising funds for the cause. Jewel toned charm quilt on point

I loved the tutorial for this quilt by Jenny yesterday. I look forward to the MSQC tutorial every week. I had to make this quilt right away. This will be a wedding gift for a friend. I wanted to have smaller borders, so I made four borders. I love the look of the tiny border. I just finished free motion quilting the quilt for a wedding in two days :-)

I first saw this quilt in a magazine. I cannot remember which magazine but I loved making this quilt project and I used my leftover scrap fabrics from years of sewing. I quilted this quilt by using my Bernina 830 sewing machine that sits on a quilt frame.

Peggy's Quilt #32 - Stars & Plaid Quilt

This is my 32nd quilt. It's a kit from Connecting Threads named "Stars & Plaid", using the Hometown Americana fabric line. I donated it in September 2019 to a Veteran's support group named 'Salmon for Soldiers' in Everett, Washington. Jims Winter Quilt
