Hunter Star Quilt (in the making)With Bella Solids

Well, here it is 11/30/19, and I finally got back to my Hunter Star blocks. I put it away for a bit to make 3 pinwheel quilts for Christmas 2019 gifts. I wanted to place a 4 patch between each Hunter Star, but that will make this quilt huge. (Plus the inner/outer borders) Still deciding on that! (On Sunday, 7/28/19, I started a Hunters Star quilt. I am using Me & My Sister, Moda Bella solids from fat quarters. One bundle has twelve fat quarters, with dark and light colors of pink, purple, blue, aqua, orange, and light greens. For one colored fat quarter, I can make one Hunter Star Square (with a white layer cake). I am using the magic 8 method for my half square triangles. You need 16 to complete one square. I will end up with a total of 24 squares, that measure 16" x 16" each. My layout will probably be 4 wide by 6 long. A while ago, I made a purple/white pillow out of this pattern. I forgot just how long it takes to assemble one Hunters square! Well...better get to work! Have a nice day ladies!)
