This Project is the backs of my More Scrap Busting - Table Runners & Centerpieces. When you choose to QUAG your blocks, you have time to design them individually, too. Having fun adding a little more versatility to my quilting projects. Another quilting pun - I like to party and by party I mean stay home and sew. You can all be invited to my next quilting party.
Once again, it is that time of year, that you want to buy all the Christmas Fabric for 2018, unfortunately you can't, but the Dream is Wonderful. Trying to make room for at least my favorite new fabric, the old choices must go. Therefore, we have a couple of small projects. Having fun designing, picking fabric from scraps & stash, and experimenting with new blocks. The sewing season for Christmas has officially commenced. Now what's next. . . . . .
This quilt is in memory of my customer's daughter who passed away two years ago. She was a paramedic who loved children, as testified by the fun prints on her scrubs. My customer's choice of half-square triangles with bright fabrics was perfect! This quilt is for my customer's son-in-law who lost his wife, so the backing is a masculine navy blue. Quilt Stats: Pattern: Half-square triangles; Size: Lap size 58" x 74"; Fabric: Customer-supplied medical scrubs with Kona White; Batting: 100% cotton; Backing: Riley Blake Cotton Solid in Navy; Quilting: Allover medium meander in white polyester thread on Mrs.Singer, my antique 31-15; Binding: Riley Blake Cotton Solid in Navy; Label: Custom label; Value: Memorable!
