I love the saturated colors of Halloween prints ~~ the oranges, blacks, acid greens and purples. This Wacky Web was fun to make and we enjoy it very much in our home. The Happy Jacky tote is used as a storage bag when the quilt is not in use.
This is a variation on the beloved Log Cabin Quilt. I feel that this quilt is my most significant quilt I've made. I call it my Journey quilt. I began making this quilt in 1998. I made several blocks and then I experienced several profound life changes and I didn't resume working on it until about 2009. I used a variety of fabrics in the making of this quilt. Many of the fabrics are from Thimbleberries but the rest were picked up here and there and also pulled from my stash.
