The title comes from the piecing looking like file folders and Anna Marie Horner's Fibs and Fables as the backing and binding. I knew right away I wanted to use Me and You batiks and loved them. Lumberjack Baby Quilt

I love this quilt! I made it for a friend who wanted to gift her sister-in-law with a modern baby quilt to complement the lumberjack theme they had chosen. I also made curtains, crib skirt, burp clothes and changing pad sheets. The quilt itself is reversible...isn't that fun??? I would have loved to change up my decor!

I used to quilt many years ago. Recently I moved back home and discovered my sister and her daughter had started to quilt. So I joined in. I saw the quartered stripes tutorial. It intrigued me so I decided to give it a go. I love the way it turned out. And I also loved the backing. I do some hand quilting but I sent this out. Allison did a wonderful job.
