This quilt has taken me years to make! I started when I was made redundant several years ago, when I saw Jenny's tutorial. Having been furloughed from work during the pandemic I started bringing out my unfinished projects and decided to finish this one. Thanks for being so inspiring Jenny.

My version of this pattern. Made 6 blocks instead of 9 and added four patches down each side to make it more square. Used my embroidery machine for the centers.

My daughter decided she wanted to giver her good friend a quilt for their wedding ... in 3 weeks! So we went shopping in my stash. She selected on of my favorite layer cakes, "Sunset Blooms 10 Karat Crystals" by Wilmington. I had picked it up as a Daily Deal from MSQ back in June 2018. We were lucky enough to find fabric for the border and backing from the line (which surprised me). Since the wedding was 3 weeks off I decided to go with Jenny's Building Block tutorial. It came together quickly and my favorite local quilter squeezed me in with a darling sunflower quilting pattern. People who say it at the quilt shop asked it if was for sale - I've never sold a quilt so was very flattered. Long story short, I finished sewing on the custom label and binding two days before she had to leave for the wedding. Phew! I love how it turned out. The beautiful, colorful fabric really made this quilt pop.

I fell in love with this quilt when I saw it hanging across a railing at Missouri Star Quilt Co at the birthday bash last year, I knew I had to make it. Love the soft colors in these fabrics

Saw the “Suburbs” pattern and had to make it. It was such an easy pattern and fun to make.

I made this one, along with matching pillow cases, for our guest room, love it so much I use it in the lounge room or on my bed too! Just using a simple half square, and let the fabric be the hero in this one.
