Waiting For Pa
These quilts are beginner quilts that I made in the early days of my life as a quilter. The split rail fence quilt was made with a variety of scraps. The simple squares on the other is made up of soft yellow, aqua, & lilac tones. I like to photograph my quilts & in this particular photo I brought my quilts to a historic farm near my home to photograph them on a split rail fence. While setting up my shot I turned around & caught a glimpse of this young lady in period clothing that went along with the historic farm's time period. I asked the girl & her mothers permission to use her in my photo. Both of them were very gracious. Now my quilts look like a scene right out of Little House.
